Sinha reconstitutes Appellate Division

DHAKA: Justice SK Sinha has reconstituted the benches of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court immediate after the 21st chief justice of Bangladesh was administered.

SC registrar SM Kuddus Jaman confirmed the matter of bench reconstitution to banglanews on Saturday noon.

The new chief justice will preside over a four-judge bench at the court number no 1.

Three others judges are Justice Nazmun Ara Sultana, Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain and Justice Hasan Foez Siddique.

The most senior Appellate Division judge, M Abdul Wahhab Mia, will lead a three-member bench at the court number 2

Two other judges are Justice M Iman Ali and Justice AHM Shamsuddin Choudhury.

Just former Chief Justice M Mozammel Hossain led the five-judge bench at the court number no-1.
