2 more devotees die at Ijtema ground

GAZIPUR: Two more devotees died on Saturday, the second day of the second phase of Biswa Ijtema, the largest congregation after hajj.

The deceased were identified as Azam Khan, 55, hailed from Palasbari area of Nilphamari district and Basir Mia, 55, hailed from Bhogtara village under Juri Thana of Maulvibazar district.

Ijtema organizers confirmed the matter to banglanews.

The death toll in the second phase of Ijtema reached to seven.
