DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Sunday ordered the authorities concerned to arrest petrol bomb attackers immediately.

The premier made the order during her visit at Square Hospital in the city to see police constable Shamim who had sustained burn injuries.

Police Inspector General (IG) Shahidul Haque, among others, accompanied the premier.

Earlier at Saturday night, the policeman received burn injuries as a group of miscreants hurled petrol bomb targeting a police vehicle in front of Institution of Engineers Bangladesh in Ramna area in city.

Four more police personnel were injured at the attack.

Later, Shamim was shifted from Dhaka Medical College Hospital to Square Hospital in a critical condition.

However, the other injured are police constables Morshed (50), Mohammad Likhan (25) and Badiar (25) and Sub-Inspector Abul Kalam Azad (45).
