DHAKA: Special Correspondent Shamim Khan of banglanews sustained head injuries as miscreants, from a train, threw brick-chips at him in Moghbazar Rail gate area of the city on Monday.

Shamim said that some miscreants threw brick-chips at them while he, along with another banglanews special correspondent SM Abbas riding on a motorbike, was going to the secretariat on assignment around 11:45am, leaving him injured.

Later, Shamim was taken to the Bangladesh secretariat Clinic where he is now under treatment. 

The attending doctors of the clinic said after getting medical examination report he will be referred to specialist if necessary.
