SUNAMGANJ: Two persons were killed and 10 others injured in a road accident in Kathoir area of the district on Monday afternoon.

The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Locals said that a rashly driven truck hit a human hauler in the area around 1:45pm, leaving 12 passengers of the hauler injured critically.

However, the injured were rushed to Sunamganj Sadar Hospital where doctors declared two of them dead.

Sunamganj Sadar Model Thana Sub-Inspector Abdur Razzaq confirmed the matter to banglanews.
