DHAKA: Australian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Greg Wilcock, on behalf of Australia, “condemned, without qualification, the continuing political violence in Bangladesh”.

He also urged all sides to renew their efforts to resolve political differences peacefully, and to exercise restraint and respect for freedom of speech and assembly.

Wilcock further said, “Australia values its growing relationship with Bangladesh. We believe that constructive political dialogue will support Bangladesh’s further success.”
