DHAKA: State Minister for home affairs Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal Tuesday announced bounty for information leading to arrest petrol bomb attackers and arsonists.

He made the disclosure when members of newly elected Bangladesh Crimes Reporters Association of Bangladesh (Crab) paid a courtesy call on him at his secretariat office in the morning.

The junior minister further said formal declaration from the ministry in this regard will be made soon. He, however, is yet to declare the amount of reward.

About, Viber, WhatsApp and other voice and messaging apps blocked by the government on Sunday and Monday on security ground, Kamal said the restriction will be pulled out soon.

“Terrorists have started using twitter, e-mails and other social media and apps for communication among themselves. We have opted to closing these to identify the terrorists,” he added.
