BGB deployed in city

DHAKA: Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) personnel were deployed in city on Thursday evening to thwart any untoward situation during the ongoing indefinite blockade enforced by BNP.

The BGB members started patrolling the city streets from 6:00pm on the day to keep the situation under control.

Sources said BGB members will assist police and Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) personnel to make the lives and properties of people safe and secure.
