DHAKA: Bangladesh declared Saturday as National Mourning Day to commemorate the death of the King of Saudi Arabia Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
The national flag will remain half-mast in government and private buildings across the country on the day.
President Abdul Hamid will leave the country for Saudi Arabia on Saturday to condole King’s death.
The King of Saudi Arabia has breathed his last early Friday. He was 90.
The namaz-e-Janaza of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz was held after Asar prayer (Saudi Arabia’s local time).
As per rule, Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, 79, became the new Saudi king and Prince Muqrin Bin Abdulaziz was declared as the new crown prince.
