PARBATIPUR, DINAJPUR: A youth was killed and over a dozen hurt in a clash over land in Habibpur village under Parbatipur on Saturday morning.

The deceased was identified as Sohag, 22, son of Jahurul Islam, who was also injured in the clash.

Locals said there was a longstanding dispute between people Santal group and Jahurul Islam group over possessing land properties. 

On Saturday morning, people of two groups locked into fierce clash and Sohag killed in bow and arrow attack of the Santal group and 12 more hurt.

Confirming the matter to banglanews, Officer-in-Charge of Parbatipur Model Thana Mahmudul Alam said police team was sent to the spot to disperse the clashing people.
