PSC-CSC chiefs pay homage to martyrs

SAVAR: The chairpersons of Public Service Commission (PSC) and CSC of eight SAARC countries paid tributes to the martyred by placing floral wreaths at National Martyrs' Memorial in Savar on Saturday.

The PSC chairman Ikram Ahmed led the team, comprising of the chairmen of India, Nepal, Bhutan, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Maldives and Pakistan, in placing the wreaths as their heartfelt homage to the heroes, who sacrificed their lives for the cause of the country and the nation.

After that, they signed on the ‘visit book’ at the noon and walked around the vast area of the memorial as well.

The memorial Deputy Assistant engineer Mizanur Rahman, Savar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Kamrul Hasan and other high officials were also present at the program.
