DHAKA: The High Commission of India on Monday arranged programs to mark the Republic Day of the country at New Chancery Complex on UN Road in city’s Baridhara area.

High Commissioner of India Pankaj Saran unfurled the National Flag at 9:00am, followed by the singing of the National Anthem.

Hundreds of Indian nationals are participating in the celebrations and also enjoyed cultural program presented by the children of the Indian community.

The High Commissioner then read the President of India’s message to the nation.

The main attraction of the celebrations will be the performance of special naval band and Khattak Dance at Hotel Radisson in the city in evening.
