DHAKA: A teenager was killed as a wall of an under construction building collapsed at Rayerbagh area of Jatrabari Thana in city Friday afternoon.

The victim was identified as Sagor, 16, a painter and son of one Sultan Ahmed, hailed from Haimchar of Chandpur district. 

Deceased’s friend Jony told banglanews that the wall collapsed over Sagor as they jumped from the wall around 4:30pm.

Later, critically injured Sagor was taken to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) where the attending doctors declared him dead on arrival.

DMCH police outpost assistant sub-inspector Sentu confirmed the matter to banglanews.
