DHAKA: Dhaka University Journalists Association (DUJA) announced to hold a human chain on ‘Aparajeyo Bangla’ premises at DU campus on Monday morning.

The Journalists Association will hold the demonstration protesting the police torture to a journalist and a DU student for carrying pillion in motorcycle which has been banned earlier.

The two victims are DU correspondent Nazmul Huda Suman of English daily ‘The New Age’ and DU student Khairuzzaman Shuvo. They both are residents of DU Zia Hall.

Terming the incident shameful, DU vice chancellor professor D AAMS Arefin Siddique and proctor professor Dr AM Amzad expressed condemn.
