LAXMIPUR: A victim of petrol bomb attack succumbed to his burn injuries when he was being taken to Dhaka for better treatment on Monday morning.

The deceased was identified as Liton, 35, son of Abdul Jabbar, hailed from Natore.

Family sources said Liton came here to visit house of his father-in-law. On Sunday blockaders hurled petrol bomb in a CNG-run auto-rickshaw, leaving three including Liton burnt.

They were rushed to Laxmipur Sadar Hospital. Liton was being taken to Dhaka after his condition deteriorated in the morning.

Residential medical officer of the hospital Anwar Hossain confirmed the matter to banglanews.
