AKHAURA (BRAHMANBARIA): A 25-member Bangladesh delegation, led by Moulvibazar deputy commissioner M Kamrul Hasan, left the country for Tripura in India on Monday noon to attend a three-day border conference.
Akhaura land port immigration officer Bachchu Mia confirmed the matter to banglanews.
Abhishek Sinha, deputy commissioner of Tripura’s West Tripura district, welcomed the Bangladeshi delegates in Agartala land port around 12:30pm.
The delegation comprises deputy commissioners and superintendents of police (SP) of Brahmanbaria, Habiganj, Moulvibazar and Rangamati districts and Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) officials.
Brahmanbaria deputy commissioner M Mosharraf Hossain said they would discuss on border and business issues.
