RANGPUR: Rangpur City Corporation (RACC) mayor Sarfuddin Ahmed Jhantu on Monday announced Tk 10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of saboteurs.

He made the announcement in a human chain program and rally, arranged by Rangpur district and metropolitan Dokan Malik Samity in front of Rangpur Press Club at noon.

He also urged the banks to exempt the interests of small and middle range businessmen of the district.

With district Dokan Malik Samity convener Altaf Hossain in the chair, organizing secretary of Kendriya Dokan Malik Samity Rezaul Islam Milon, who is also the secretary general of Mahanagar Dokan Malik Samity, Mahanagar Dokan Malik Samity vice-chairman Mahfuz Elahi, among others, addressed the program.

The business leaders urged the political leaders to stop all destructive programs.
