DHAKA: Leaders and activists of Ganajagaran Mancha, who are staging a non-stop sit-in program at city’s Shahbagh area, have been seen awaken on Thursday night.

They are holding the demonstration program there demanding the banning the Jamaat-Shibir politics, stopping on-going violence and ensuring hassle-free SSC examinations apart from marking the second anniversary of the Shahbagh movement.

Moreover, the Mancha activists were seen displaying documentaries on their movement and on different topics at Shahbagh intersection.

Ganajagaran Mancha spokesperson Imran H Sarker, regarding the movement, told banglanews that they will continue the sit-in program till the stopping violence and killing people.

He, however, along with his fellows and followers, started the demonstration from 10:00am.

Imran added: The pro-liberation platform will also bring out procession titled ‘Muktir Ovijatra’ stretching Shahbagh to Sadarghatt around 4:00pm Friday.
