BARISAL: Six police personnel were injured in a road accident in Kashipur area of the city on Friday afternoon.

Police sources said that a rashly driven truck collided with a minibus carrying the law enforcers in the area at the afternoon.

Four of the injured were rushed to Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital.

Police seized the truck in this connection but could not nab the driver as he fled the scene immediately after the mishap.

Police Superintendent of the district AKM Ehsan Ullah confirmed the matter to banglanews.
