DHAKA: Law enforcers on Tuesday recovered 2.5-kg gold from the Turna-Nishitha train at Kamalapur railway station in city.

They also detained two people for their alleged involvement with carrying the gold.

Kamalapur railway thana Sub-Inspector Rafiqul Islam told banglanews that acting on tipped-off, they recovered the gold and detained two on allegation of carrying gold.

Police were processing to file a case with the thana till the filing of this report.
