NETROKONA: A driver and his helper sustained burn injuries when miscreants hurled petrol bombs at a truck in Pisinal School area under Durgapur upazla of the district on Tuesday night.

Of the inured, one was identified as Afzal, driver of the truck.

Durgapur Thana Officer-In-Charge (OC) Rezaul Islam Khan confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Rezaul said the truck, carrying stones, was going to Mymensingh.

On arrival in the area, miscreants set fire to the truck around 9:00pm, leaving its driver and helper injured.

The injured were admitted at Mymensignh Medical College and Hospital for treatment.
