PABNA: Six people were killed as a rashly driven truck crushed into a three wheeler, locally known as Nasimon, in Kashinathpur area under Santhia upazila of the district on Wednesday morning.

The deceased were identified as Ahsan Muhuri, 60, Runa, 18, Abdul Motin, 50, Bonna, 8, Rokeya Khatun, 40 and her son Rana, 18, hailed from Chor Bethalia village of the upazila.

Officer-in-Charge of Aminpur Thana Jasim Uddin Sarker confirmed the road accident to banglanews.

The OC said a Dhaka-bound truck crushed into the human hauler in Ahmadpur area in the morning, leaving three passengers of the Nasimon dead on the spot and four others injured.

The injured were rushed to local hospitals three others died later, said hospital sources.
