DHAKA: Two persons were killed in separate road accidents in the city.

Darussalam Thana duty-officer Sub-Inspector (SI) Biswajit Paal told banglanews that a cattle trader Amzad Hossain (50), hailing from city’s Badda area, was killed as a truck knocked him down on early Thursday near the cattle market in Gabtoli.

Two of his cows were also killed in the accident, the SI added.

Moreover, an unidentified youth (25) was killed as a private car rammed into him near Taula Bus Stand under Airport Thana on Wednesday midnight.

Airport Thana Sub-Inspector (SI) Mehedi Hasan confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Bodies of deceased were sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy on Thursday.
