3 injured in DU cocktail blasts

DHAKA: At least three people were severely injured as miscreants blasted two cocktails on Dhaka University (DU) campus area on Thursday night.

Sources said that miscreants blasted a cocktail in front of DU Swimming Pool area around 7:30pm, leaving a rickshaw-puller and his passenger injured critically.

Earlier, a vendor Sohel received injuries as a cocktail was blasted in front of Teacher-Student Center (TSC) at 7:15pm on the day.

The injured were rushed to the Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH).
