BORGUNA: Two bodies recovered after a trawler, carrying over 200 passengers, capsized in Payra river in Telulbari area under Taltali upazila on Friday noon. 

Officer-in-Charge (OC) Babuli Akhter of Taltala Thana confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He said the Borguna-bound trawler coming from Kuakata capsized in the river around 1:00pm.

Locals rescued most of the passengers of trawler.

The local administration recovered two bodies from the river while 5-6 passengers remain still missing.

Station Commander KM Rahatuzzaman of Patharghata Cost Guard said being informed a rescue team started for the spot.
