SYLHET: Two persons were killed and three others injured as a bus rammed into a covered van on Dhaka-Sylhet highway in Rashidpur area on Thursday morning.

The deceased were identified as covered van dirver Uzzal, 35 and passenger Mahabub, 38.

Witnesses said a passenger bus rammed into the covered van of a medicine company in the area, leaving the casualties.

The injured were rushed to Osmani Medical College Hospital.

Assistant Commissioner of Sylhet Metropolitan Police Nasir Uddin confirmed the matter to banglanews.
