DHAKA: A truck driver, who suffered burn injuries in a petrol bomb attack on his vehicle in Narsingdi-Ghorashal area on February 12, lost his battle for life at Dhaka Medical College Hospital on Friday.

Confirming the matter, DMCH police outpost in-charge Mozammel Haque told banglanews that the ill-fated driver succumbed to his injuries around 10:40am at the intensive care unit (ICU) of the burn unit of the hospital.

Earlier on February 12 night, Zahid along with his helper and a security guard of Pran-RFL Company sustained severe burn injuries as miscreants hurled a petrol bomb at the truck in Narsingdi Sadar upazila.

However, they were then rushed to Narsingdi Hospital and later shifted to DMCH.
