NARAYANGANJ: At least 15 people were injured after a rashly driven truck collided a head-on with a passenger bus on Dhaka-Sylhet highway in Purinda area under Araihajar upazila of the district on Sunday morning.

Araihajar Thana Sub-Inspector (SI) Zaher told banglanews that a Sylhet-bound passenger bus of NP Paribahan collided with a goods-laden truck around 11:30am, leaving 15 people injured.

The injured were taken to different hospitals and clinics,” he said.

Police seized both the vehicles, he added.
