DHAKA: The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) interrogated Arfina Begum, general manager of Bangladesh Development Bank Limited (BDBL) on allegation of amassing illegal wealth and recruiting unskilled staff in exchange of bribe.

ACC assistant director (Inquiry and investigation-1) M Saiful Islam quizzed her for four-hour at its head office in city's Segun Bagicha area on Sunday.

According to an allegation, BDBL GM Arfina Begum, DGM AKM Shafiqul Islam and another DGM Shakawat Hossain were involved in recruitment business in collaboration with each other.

Arfina Begum was interrogated on Sunday and rests will be grilled soon, a source of the anti-graft body said.
