3 cocktails blasted in Panthapath, 1 held

DHAKA: Police detained a person from city’s Panthapath area in connection with hurling three cocktails there Sunday evening.

Without disclosing the identities of the detainee, police said that he is being quizzed following the blasts.

However, the cocktails were hurled around 7:45pm.

Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Thana Sub-Inspector (SI) Ahad Ali said that police forces were deployed in the area to avert any further untoward situation.
