KURIGRAM: Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) destroyed a large haul of narcotics worth Tk 2 crore in Kurigram.

BGB Rangpur sector commander deputy-director general Mohammad Zulfiqar Ali inaugurated the destruction of the drugs with the assistance of district administration and narcotics control department on Monday noon.

The narcotics, which include foreign wine, Phensedyl and marijuana, were recovered from 15 December 2012 to 31 December 2014 by the BGB members in Kurigram frontier.
