5 Bangladeshis killed in KSA fire

SAUDI ARABIA: Five Bangladeshis among six were killed in a factory fire in Dammam area of Saudi Arabia on Monday morning (local time).

The deceased were identified as Abu Musa, Ziaur Rahman, Nisa Mia of Comilla, Mir Rahman of Feni and Abu Molla of Chandpur.

However, the other deceased was identified as a Pakistani national.

KSA Bangladesh embassy sources said that a fire broke out in a sofa making factory, ‘Dalla Sanaiya’, in the area around 5:00am (local time), leaving the casualties.

However, on information, law enforcers and fire fighters rushed to the spot to bring the situation under control.

Bangladesh embassy Labour Councilor Mohammad Sarwar Alam confirmed the matter to banglanews.
