City shop catches fire

DHAKA: A fire broke out in a paper shop in city’s Sutrapur area on Monday evening.

Eleven units of fire fighters rushed to the spot to douse the blaze.

Locals said that the fire was originated around 5:45pm in the shop.

However, the reason behind the fire could not be known immediately.

The estimated loss due to the fire is yet to be determined, the locals added.

Fire Service Control Room Duty Officer Nilufar Yasmin confirmed the matter to banglanews.
