DHAKA: A medical team, after visiting BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia at her Gulshan political office in the capital Monday afternoon, said her health condition is not bad.
Regarding BNP chief’s health condition, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) former vice-chancellor (VC) Dr M Tahir, who led the medical team, told banglanews that she is not sick, but it is natural to develop some disorders following the age.
He also said, “Madam is not suffering from any serious complication.”
The medical team, however, spent about three hours starting from 2:45pm, at BNP chairperson’s chamber where she has been staying from January 5.
Sources said that Bangladesh Medical College and Hospital cardiology and medicine specialist professor M Tauhidul Haque, Orthopedic Hospital professor Siraj Uddin Ahmed, Savar Enam Medical College and Hospital’s anesthesia and ICU department assistant professor SM Rafiqul Islam and Apollo Hospitals’ Mirpur unit nurse Labony also accompanied Dr Tahir.
