MANIKGANJ: Ferry service on Daulatdia-Paturia route resumed on Thursday morning after four hours of suspension to avoid accident due to poor visibility caused by dense fog.

Assistant manager Mahiuddin Rasel of Paturia ghat section’s business department told banglanews that the ferry service has been resumed around 8:30am.

Earlier, the Paturia ferry ghat authorities suspended the service from 4:00am due to the dense fog.

There are six Ro Ro (big), six Utility (medium), two K-type (small) ferries on service, Rasel added.
