DHAKA: A passenger bus was set ablaze by miscreants in city’s Johnson Road area on Friday afternoon.

None was reportedly injured in the incident as the passengers managed to get down from the bus immediately after the arson attack.

Locals said that a gang of miscreants set fire to the passenger bus in front of Judge Court in old part of Dhaka around 6:30pm and fled the scene.

Fire Service Control Room Operator Abdul Aziz told banglanews necessary measures are being taken in this regard.

On the other hand, BNP-led 20-party alliance has called a fresh 72-hour hartal from 6am Sunday to 6am Wednesday amid the ongoing blockade.
