DHAKA: In the latest development, the government has reshuffled nine joint secretaries and one additional secretary.
The public administration ministry issued an order Wednesday afternoon regarding the reshuffle.
It said additional secretary Biman Kumar Saha, secretary to Bangabandhu Kalyan Foundation, was made additional secretary to health and family welfare ministry.
In the joint secretary level, Shankar Ranjan Saha, director of local government division, Chittagong, was made additional divisional commissioner of Chittagong; public service commission (PSC) secretary Dipak Chakrabarty was made director of local government division, Chittagong.
In another order, officer on special duty (OSD) of public administration ministry joint secretary M Abdul Maleque was transferred to health and family welfare ministry while Milk Vita managing director MA Mannan Hawlader was shifted to APD sub-division of public administration ministry.
In a separate order, OSD of public administration ministry Swapan Kumar Baral was made director of the ‘Fourth phase of temple-based children and mass education project’, OSD Jyotirmaya Samaddar was made secretary to Bangabandhu Krira Sebi Foundation and director of Bangladesh Hi-tech Park authority M Enamul Haque was made director of a project on establishing computer and language training lab in countrywide educational institutions.
Besides, the director of Khulna divisional jail construction project M Humayun Kabir was made director of a project under women and children affairs ministry and M Zahir Uddin of family planning directorate was made director of Milk Vita.
