DHAKA: An unidentified teenage boy died after falling from the rooftop of a train in a rail crossing located in city’s Hazrat Shahjalal International airport area on Friday.

Officer-in-charge Abdul Mazid of Dhaka Railway Thana confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He said the teenager fell from the Dhaka-bound train coming from Mymensingh being hit by electric wire in the area around 11:00am that left him critically injured.

One of the witnesses, Khairul Islam said the injured was rushed to the Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) where he succumbed to his injuries around 2:15pm.
