TANGAIL: Two people were killed and 25 others injured as a bus plunged into a ditch on Dhaka-Tangail Bangabandhu bridge highway in Natiyapara area under Delduar upazila on Friday.
The identity of the deceased could not be identified immediately.
Tangail Traffic Police Sergeant Asad told banglanews that the accident took place around 4:15pm when the driver of Dhaka-bound bus, Nabil Paribahan, coming from North Bengal lost his control over the steering, leaving two people spot dead and 25 others injured.
The injured were taken to the Tangail Medical College and Hospital and Mirzapur Kumudini Hospital, the sergeant added.
