CHAPAINAWABGANJ: Unidentified miscreants chopped an activist of Chhatra Shibir to death in Rehaichar of the district town on Thursday morning.

The deceased was identified as Ariful Islam, 17, son of one Ramzan Ali. He was Class-XI student of Chapainawabganj City College.

Police said Ariful was killed in infighting. However his family claimed Ariful killing was pre-planned.

Officer-in-Charge of Sadar Thana Golam Mortaza said he was killed by other Shibir activists and police started raiding to nab the killers.
