DHAKA: A passer-by was killed as a passenger bus knocked down him in Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport intersection area Friday morning.

The deceased could not be identified immediately.

Sub-Inspector (SI) of Airport Thana M Foyez told banglanews that a passenger bus hit the passer-by while he was crossing the street around 10:30am, leaving him critically injured.

“I rushed him to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital where on-duty doctor declared him dead around 11am,” he added.
