Bangladeshi killed in KSA road crash

RIYADH: A Bangladeshi was killed in a road accident in Azizia Shimaliya area of Mecca in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) Sunday afternoon.

The deceased was identified as Abdul Kuddus, 48, hails from Joypara village under Dohar upazila of Dhaka.

Locals said a speedy truck run over Abdul while he was crossing a road in the area around 4:30pm to go in a mosque.

Later, police rushed him to the local Al-Nur Hospitals where the attending doctors declared him dead.

The law enforcers also detained the car driver and seized the vehicle.
