MAGURA: District Detective Branch police detained three more accused over shooting a baby in her mother’s womb and one other to death.

The arrestees are- Liton Hossain, Farid Hossain and Milton Hossain.

Investigation officer DB OC Imaul Haque confirmed the matter to banglanews saying, “On information DB police detained Liton from Shalikha upazila on Monday while Farid and Milton were held from Alomkhali bus stand area.”

On Sunday, a district court granted 7-day remand to Chhatra League leader Sumon Sen over the incident.

Earlier on July 23, supporters of Magura Juba League activist Kamrul Bhuiyan clashed with former Juba League supporters Mohammad Ali and Ajibor.

Najma Begum, 30, the pregnant woman, and her neighbour Miraz Hossain were hit by stray bullets, while one other was killed during the clash.
