Cabinet nods amendment to ACC law

DHAKA: Forgery and misappropriation by government and bank employees will be tried under Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) laws while individuals will face judicial magistrate courts.

Keeping the provision, the cabinet gave approval in principle to Anti Corruption Commission Law-2015 (Amendment) on Monday with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair.

Cabinet secretary Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan made the disclosure after the meeting.
