DHAKA: In a latest development, the government has reshuffled 14 high-ups of public administration, including additional secretaries.

The public administration ministry on Monday afternoon issued different orders regarding the reshuffle.

M Abdur Rauf was appointed as Additional secretary of public administration.

Director of four textile institutes establishing projects under the ministry of textiles and jute M Iqbal Hossain, director of department of narcotics control M Mojibur Rahman and M Abdul Aziz of Comilla district were made OSD (officer on special duty).

In the same order, OSD Fouzia Nahar Islam was made the additional secretary of industries ministry, additional secretary of ministry of disaster management and relief Partha Pratim Dev was transferred to information and communication technology division and additional secretary of department of women affairs Shamima Haque was made additional secretary of disaster management and relief ministry.

In a separate order, additional secretary of public service commission M Yusuf Ali was appointed as director to four textile institutes establishing projects under the ministry of textiles and jute.

Besides, member of Bangladesh Export Processing Zone authority M Abdur Rahman was made the member of RAJUK (Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha) and RAJUK member Sheikh Abdul Mannan was appointed as the director of third project of Construction of Regional Server Station for Electoral Database (amended).

Meanwhile, Directorate of Primary Education director M Ruhul Amin was made the director of Petrobangla; OSD Abu Hena Mostafa Kamal was made director of a project on adjusting cloth processing and Bangladesh Land Port Authority director M Mofidul Islam was made director of narcotics control department.
