DHAKA: Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) will take control of vehicular movement around the President’s house ‘Bangabhaban’ in city on the occasion of Independence Day that falls on March 26.

A press note signed by DMP commissioner Asaduzzaman Mia informed the media on Tuesday.

According to the note, prime minister, cabinet members, chiefs of three services, diplomats, freedom fighters and other dignitaries will visit the President Abdul Hamid at his residence-cum-office ‘Bangabhaban’ on the occasion of the national day on March 26.

For the convenience of the guests, vehicular movements around Bangabhaban will be restricted from 12:00pm on the day.
