City shopping centre catches fire

DHAKA: A fire broke out at Priyangon Shopping Center in Dhanmodi area of the city on Thursday morning.

Originated around 9:15am somewhere inside the centre, the fire soon spread out the adjacent area.

On information, four fire fighters units from Fire Service and Civil Defense (FSCD) Headquarters   and Palashi Station rushed to the spot and trying to douse the flame.

FSCD Headquarters telephone operation Lakat Ali confirmed the matter to banglanews.

However, the reason behind the fire could not be known immediately.
