DHAKA: President Abdul Hamid, also the supreme commander of Armed Forces, visited a weapons exhibition at National Parade Square in city’s Sher-e-Bangla Nagar area on Thursday.

Bangladesh Army chief General Iqbal Karim Bhuiyan, Navy chief Vice-Admiral Muhammad Farid Habib and Air Force chief Air Marshal Muhammad Enamul Bari welcomed the President when he reached the exhibition venue.

Then, Air Force combat aircrafts Fly Past, Chhatrishena Para Trooping team and intra-drummer team chorused national anthem.

Later, the President visited the stalls in the exhibition.

After the program, the three chiefs of the Armed Forces paid adieu.

Senior officials of the military and civilian were also present in the program.
