DHAKA: Nose wheel of a training fighter aircraft broke down at the runway of Shahjalal International Airport (SIA) at 4.17pm Tuesday.

No one was injured reportedly but it halted flight operations at the Airport for 38 minutes, according to Caab Director (Flight safety) Group Captain Nazmul Anam.

The training aircraft-- FT 7—was purchased from China two years back, according to Air force Intelligence Director Air commodore Bashar.
