2 held with bullets, yaba tablets in Teknaf

COX’S BAZAR: Police detained two youth along with 18 round bullets, 30,000 pieces of yaba tablets and two long knives in Taknaf of Cox’s Bazar district.

They were held in a drive at Lengurbil area of Teknaf sarad at 6:00am on Wednesday.

The detainees were identified as Syed Hossain (22), son of Nurul Islam of Myanmar and Bhulu Mia, son of Nurul Islam of Lengurbil.

Teknaf Thana officer-in-charge (OC) Ataur Rahman Khandakar told banglanews that the youth were trading yaba tablets in the area early morning.

On a tip-off, police conducted a drive and nabbed the youth with bullets, yabas and knives.

Case filed against the detainees, the OC added.
